All Smiles: Nadyalee Torres Lopez Miss World Puerto Rico 2013

24-year old Nadyalee Torres Lopez, a nurse representing the town of Caguas, was elected "Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico (Puerto Rico World) 2013" during a pageant held at the Theater of the School of Performing Arts in Guaynabo. Nadyalee, who stands 1.76 m (about 5' 9") in height,
holds a degree in Family Counseling and beat 19 other contestants for
the title. She will represent Puerto Rico at the 63rd Miss World pageant in Indonesia on September 28th.

The Gown: Nadyalee wore a nude with white feathers and applique gown that really showcased her fabulous figure. The gown wasn't bad at all, and I liked the side-swept hairstyle. Not sure if the crystal earrings AND bracelet were necessary but she gets high "Nick Pageant Gown Points" for this look.

Looking at all the other girls and the finalists, sequins/crystals seemed to be HUGE this year. (Hello, it's a BEAUTY PAGEANT!). Interesting that last year's "Miss World Puerto Rico" Janelle Chaparro (about to take off her crown in the back of photo above), wore a more "Ball-Gown" shape, as opposed to all the fitted ones seen on the rest of this year's contestants.
